Lu Jingyan froze slightly and loosen up a bit, but his arms still remained stiff.

His long eyebrows twitched awkwardly, " I'm sorry.”

Chi Cheng was finally able to stretch his muscles. As he stretched in his arms, Lu Jingyan's mood became happier.

"It doesn't matter, it doesn't hurt now."

Feeling the softness of the little lump in his arms, Lu Jingyan shook his throat a little and whispered, "Hug tightly because I like you."

Chi Cheng lifted his slightly glowing red cheeks and spoke excitedly, "Uncle likes me?"

Chi Cheng's voice sounds very nice, it's childish but he articulates words very clearly.

However, being called "uncle", Lu Jingyan's gaze still unconsciously tensed.

Chi Cheng was stared at intensely. He could vaguely feel that the aura emanating from Lu Jingyan's body was very strong. It was permeating with coercion that could make people feel terrified.

Chi Cheng couldn't help but sigh a little.

Lu Jingyan's eyes were deep and his voice was low, "I am not your uncle."

Chi Cheng said "Ah" in a daze, a very unbelievable look. Afterward, his expression was replaced by the shyness of calling out the wrong name.

Chi Cheng opened his mouth slowly, a little aggrieved when he said, "Sorry, I recognized the wrong person. Mom said that when I see an adult older than Cheng Cheng on the road, Cheng Cheng should call him uncle and aunt. It could be that my mom was wrong."

Because of the lack of confidence, Chi Cheng's voice became smaller and smaller.

Lu Jing's throat slid for a while. He could feel words trying to pour out of his throat but he didn't know where to start.

The air was silent for a moment and the emotion in his chest intensified.

Finally, Lu Jingyan said in a low voice, "Mom is not wrong, but I am your father."

Upon hearing this, Chi Cheng was so frightened that his little body shook a faintly, and then he stared at Lu Jingyan with round eyes.

“...... What? "

Daddy? What is Dad? When did he have a dad? Where did Dad come from? The bright eyes of Chi Cheng were full of doubts, surprises, and puzzlements.

Two pairs of eyes, one big and one small looked silently at each other and for a moment they were speechless.

Lu Jingyan was watched nervously by Chi Cheng's suspicious gaze and his eyebrows were slightly raised.

Chi Ying heard the father and son talking about a sensitive topic and walked closer her lips moved slightly.

Before he could utter Chengcheng’s name, he saw his little head was crooked and his face was full of confusion, "Where did you come from daddy?"

"..."

Lu Jingyan pursed his lips tightly and did not answer for a while.

He fell from the sky, got out of the cracks in the ground, and got picked up from the trash can.

He was king in the business world. Although he spoke little, he is vigorous and resolute. His words are precious.  However, Lu Jingyan found that he could not answer a child's words.

He furrowed his brows slightly as he seriously pondered.

Chi Cheng remembered the magazine and suddenly said, "Oh, I see, you are the father who came out of the book."

On the side, Chi Ying chuckled in her heart. In fact, from a relative point of view, Chi Cheng is not wrong. To her, Lu Jingyan was a man who came out of a novel.

Lu Jingyan seemed to have a little helpless "Hmm" sound.

With his father's affirmation, Chi Cheng was even more proud and the chatter box’s mouth couldn't be closed.

"I'm right. But uncle, I think it's good for you to be my father, we look alike."

"It's good not to be your father." Lu Jingyan laughed angrily at Chi Cheng's words. The corners of his mouth curved slightly and he corrected him seriously, "I was your father originally."

"Also, don't call me uncle, call me Dad."

With bright eyes, he replied obediently, "Okay, Dad."

It's not a vision or an auditory hallucination. At this moment, Chi Cheng was shouting "Daddy" in a child's milky voice.

Lu Jingyan was slightly stunned and looked deeper. Gradually, there was great joy in his pupils. Chi Ying looked at them, smiling quietly and softly. Chi Cheng also seemed to feel his mother's gaze and suddenly turned his head to look at her.

He said proudly, as if to show off some great discovery, "Mom, I've found my dad."

Chi Ying smiled and said, "Congratulations, Cheng Cheng."

Chi Cheng pulled his father's tie in his mother’s direction. As if it gave him the illusion that he could control his father and walk him toward his mother.

Lu Jing was not angry. He stretched his long legs and took a step closer to her and she saw there was a fine light in his deep eyes.

Chi Cheng finally got his wish and felt proud. He suddenly said with a wince, "Mom, do you know Daddy?"

After blurting that, Chi Cheng seemed to remember something again and raised his eyebrows and said to himself, "Definitely friends, the teacher said that Dad and Mom are very good friends."

"But why have I never seen Dad?”

“Daddy, are you fighting with my mother?"

"Did you become friends now?"

Chi Cheng suddenly remembered that the boys in the class always like to bully girls and couldn't help but raise his eyebrows worriedly, "Dad, don't bully mommy."

Lu Jing's voice was low and his tone was heavy, "Well, I know.”

Chi Cheng breathed a sigh of relief as if relieved, "That's good."

Then his eyes glanced inadvertently at the helicopter and asked in a very cute tone, "Daddy, where are we going?"

○◦◦○◦◦○◦◦○

Lu Jingyan pursed his lips, exchanged glances with Chi Ying, and then walked towards the helicopter with Chi Cheng in his arms.

Chi Cheng happily tightened his two chubby arms on his father's neck. He had recently played with an electric helicopter at the Yueyue’s house. He was astonished standing in front of the real-life helicopter.

It was bigger and more luxurious than he had imagined.

From the outside, the dark green body bathed in bright sunlight made the helicopter look noble and elegant. Inside the cabin, it is another scene. Colorful children's stickers decorated the whole space giving a warm feeling.

It was arranged similarly to a children's room. Chi Cheng hadn't seen what a helicopter looks like so he didn't feel particularly surprised. From the moment he walked in, he forgot that the helicopter was for flying. It looked like small children's playground.

Chi Cheng sat in Chi Ying's arms with a contented smile and his eyes bent into two slits.

He was so happy, that the atmosphere felt joyful. Lu Jingyan, nestled in the pilot’s seat, couldn't help but look at them a few more times.

Although Chi Cheng's facial features were the same as his, they did not reveal the intimidation and coolness that were like him. His skin was inherited from Chi Ying. It was white and tender as if it can be marked easily. His shining eyes were round and inky black. The bridge of his nose is small and straight. As for his thin lips, they always curved into a laughing arc. Most importantly, he talks a lot and has a cheerful personality.

This made them quickly acquainted and it also allowed his tension these days to finally dissipate. There was no inheritance to his cold nature. That was very good.

Thinking like this, the corners of Lu Jingyan's lips couldn't help but gently draw up. The empty and cold wind of n his heart seemed to fill with something hot.
